Tetrapak Tetra Pak is a light-filled office designed by figure3 that offers various types of spaces as a modern office. Entry is the welcome area where visitors can see and taste various products on offer. Adjacent is the warm servery + coffee bar flanked by two soft banquette niches as casual meeting areas. A conferencing area is next where collaboration and gathering happens next to 2 small meeting rooms. The CEO's office is next to the main boardroom with a feature divider screen made of compacted Tetra Paks. In the midst of sit-stand workstation areas are two soft rooms where more relaxed or private tasks fit perfectly within. Environmental graphics and branding emphasizes the value and showcases the products of the company clearly - making this an envious place to work in.

What a luxurious journey - where the space for your space matters!

LUMAS toronto opening

LUMAS openingLUMAS, a gallery concept from Germany with the mission to make art accessible to everyone, opens the second location in Canada. The Blue Carpet set out on Yorkville Avenue opened the night introducing the LUMAS gallery to Toronto. The event featured SUITS actor and photographer Patrick J. Adams with an exclusive collection of his photographs. To add to the buzz, a selfie in front of LUMAS art in the space provides an opportunity for guests to receive a piece of limited edition cutwork puzzle that make up the Toronto cityscape art. You can see them on instagram with #LUMASCanada or @LUMAS_Canada.

BMO celebrates 40 years at the First Canadian Place branch

bmo_openingThe beloved First Canadian Place has been going through transformations in recent years and BMO Financial Group also went through extensive renovations to its branches and offices. The grand opening of the renewed main branch was on June 11, 2015 - the 40th anniversary of this location.  BMO celebrated with welcome events and ribbon cutting for the official grand opening. BMO first canadian place flagship

BMO_fcp One of the most major renovations to BMO's flagship branch in Toronto transformed the bank into an open and modern environment for retail banking, making it buzz of the town in the financial district. The project was designed with close collaboration between figure3 and Kearns Mancini Architects along with the BMO Corporate Real Estate Team. Having worked on this project extensively myself, it is extra special for me to see the massive transformation and to photograph it indeed!

massimo_dutti2The posh Spanish-retailer Massimo Dutti opened their second Canadian flagship at Yorkdale Shopping Centre last fall. The double-storey atrium provides the opportunity to feature architectural façade in an interior environment. The store design features traditional paneling and columns architecturally and a warm rich wood with bronze interior which compliments their classic brand beautifully. Visit the big brother to Zara when you are at Yorkdale next - they offer design lines to satisfy the inner fashionista and sartorialist instincts indeed!
